Not being a member of the band, but instead just a long time fan, its difficult to figure out what to say, and what not to say. As most fans of the Trespassengers know they've now suffered two terrible tragedies first in the loss of Mike Francisco, founding member and bassist and more recently, Brian Lang, drummer and tireless promoter and manager of sorts. Brian designed and ran this website as well and its only limping along now on my server since Todd managed to salvage the files. A lot of the stuff doesn't work anymore here - but the fact that its up is a testament to the spirit of the band and their desire to keep making music together.

APRIL 12, 2006
Well hello there!! Thanks fer stopping by our little space on the innernets. We've been pretty busy lately - or at least it seems that way. Sam has snapped out of his writers-block and is now a white-hot ball of song-writing creativity, the rest of the band has been struggling just to keep up...well sort of. We do have a batch of new songs in the works just in time for the spring shows - come out and see what we've been cooking up if you can.
As always if you're looking for info on local music be sure to visit the RoundTable Presents website for more info on great local bands and frank and funny discussions on their bulletin boards. Also see the American Fallout Records site to check out a sampler of great Americana bands featuring Jefferson Pepper, SuperSuckers (playing the Dragonfly May 1st), Eddie Spaghetti and us too!
Hasta!

Here Comes The New Year!
Every
now and then I know it's kinda
hard to tell, but I'm still alive and well!”-- Johnny Winter
Heck yeah we're still kickin’! We're just kinda slackin
with the web updates.
Shoot - the last batch of photos we posted were from the
Ski RoundTop gig in March way back when it was cold outside
and snow was on the ground…. uhhhh. Yeah anyway. It's cold
again and there is snow on the ground and we're working
on our 2006 schedule. We’ve got a couple gigs lined up in
March and we're looking to add a couple more before the
new year smacks us in the face. We've been doing a bit of
self-promotion on the web at the
Bud Garageband.com site as well as a few others. We're
getting some pretty good reviews too which is cool. We’ll
be the featured Americana artist
on the
garageband site Sunday December 18. Anyway – we wish
you all a Happy New Years and we hope to see you real soon.

OCTOBER 18, 2005
Happy Halloween All!
Ahh, it's fall - one of our favorite times of year, time
to bust out the big sweater and pack on a few pounds eatin'
chicken wings and watchin' football. Before the weather
got too cold we got the chance to play one final outdoor show
of the season at the
American Fallout Records CD release party. That
stage is just too cool - the sound was awesome and even though
we hacked our way through our set we had a great time thanks
to the hospitality of Jeff, Pat and all the folks at AFR.
Anyway, we're working hard to keep off the holiday pounds
by keeping on our rigorous tour schedule, making T-Shirt's
and CD's, updating the website, yada yada yada...Coming up
on the 21st of October we'll be at the Marysville Tavern and
then November 5th at the Appalachian
Brewing Company opening for the lovely and talented Case150.
Check out the shows section for more detail. Oh, we will have
shirts and CD's available at both shows - $10 gets you the
shirt and CD combo meal, remember Christmas is coming and
they make a great gift! C'mon out and see us if you can!
Take care now.

Well, It’s the end of September already, the kid’s are back at school, the lines at the amusement parks are growing shorter and the Trespassengers are getting ready for their last outdoor gig of the year. Mark your calendars for an amazing day of fun, food and music. We’ll be taking the stage Saturday, September 24th at 5:30pm. At the Rockin' on the Hill Festival in Conastoga, PA. (Right outside Lancaster) We’ll be joined by a bunch of great bands including Case 150, Uncle Skip, Slim Fit, False Bottoms, God Bless Our Mobile Home, Altercana, and The Green Onions. Come early though, because there will be pigs roasting and lots of food and drinks all day and all night long. Also there will be two stages set-up so the music will be non-stop throughout the day and into the evening. Stop by and see us before or after our set - we’ll have T-Shirts and copies of our five song demo for sale. (We may even have copies of the American Fallout Records compilation CD that we've been included on.)
In other news, new mixes of our songs and one new song are done and will be posted to the music page in the next few days. So be sure to check them out. We’ll be recording more new material in the very near future too so stay tuned as the drama unfolds. JUNE 27, 2005
Howdy folks! Trespassengers have been mighty busy lately - we had back
to back weekend shows out at Wallabees in Harrisburg. If you haven't
been out there yet it's definitely worth checking out. They just built
a nice size riser stage and the place can accommodate a good size crowd,
so it's set to become a great venue for live music. Anyway, we had a
great time playing the Millennium Gig, it's always a treat playing a
show with Case 150
- the pedal steel and tele wrangling just floors us every time. We also
got introduced to Jenkins
Hollow - a great band from Baltimore who's singer/guitar player
Rose Manfre simply rocks. We look forward to playing again with both
those acts in the near future. Thanks to everyone who came out last
Saturday, and if you missed us - that's o.k. the next show is right
around the corner on July 5th at the Hardware Bar in downtown Harrisburg
- check the shows listing for more info. Take care.

Trespassengers
have some good news, we've been accepted as a
Round Table Presents act! For those of you who aren't sure what RTP
is, go check out their web site roundtablepresents.com.
They just redesigned their site and it looks fantastic, it's got streaming
media, discussion boards and info on where to catch some of the most
entertaining original live music in the Harrisburg area. We're really
looking forward to working with this fine consortium, Round Table Presents
always gives the audience a great sound and light show and for the bands
it's just the best - quality sound is one thing but to be involved in
a community of folks who care so much about live music makes it even
better. We look forward to seeing you all out at an RTP sponsored event
in the near future. Until then come out and catch us June 25th at Wallabee's
in Harrisburg as part of the Harrisburg
Millennium Music Conference. Take care all.

Tired of smoky bars and sound systems that leave your ears ringing?
If so, this may be the show for you! Join Sam and Todd (and maybe even
Mike) for an all ages acoustic show this Friday at the coffee house
in Linglestown (right near the square). We’ll be playing two sets
of mostly original material while throwing back some half-caff mocha
lattes in the most Alt-Country way we find. It should be a great time
– we’re working for tips, so be sure to bring lots of $1
bills. If you’re really nice Sam will let you place them in his
pockets.

MARCH 17, 2005
The First Annual Ski 4 Life 24 hour gig went very well. Yes it was cold
but so what?! It was a bright sunny morning and by the time we got there,
(and had a cup of coffee) we were ready to rock. We even played fairly
well due in large part to the outstanding sound provided by Roundtable
Presents. We all had a great time - even Ned who left NJ at 3:30
a.m. to make it on time. All in all it was great to be part of an event
that benefited a worthy cause and get a chance to play for some folks
who may otherwise have never heard us. More shows are on the way, so
be sure to check the schedule page for all of the latest updates. See
you at the next show.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This Friday we will be performing our first show of the new
year opening for Captain Amazing at Gullifty's in Camp Hill.
If you've never seen Captain Amazing before, here's a short
description...
Captain
Amazing is the latest alternative to the cover bands that
you might find on the local and regional music scene today.
With the combination of the driving rhythm section and the
versatile guitars, the tunes delivered are punctuated with
hard hitting horn lines, keyboard harmonies, and other percussive
effects to bring you a cover band experience unlike no other.
The band consists of former members of Big Tubba Mista and
Nowhere Quick. We hope you will join us this Friday at Gullifty's
for a night of great music and cheap drinks.

Paxton Street for another evening of fun. This time around
we're sharing the stage with 2 great bands... Case
150 and Doug
Kwartler. Case 150 is a local band playing original music
with an incredible lineup of musicians. Definitely check these

The June 26th show at the G-Man in Mechanicsburg was a great
time. Trespassengers would like to give special thanks to
'Brian the sound guy' for caring enough to make us sound our
very best. Thanks also to all the folks who made the Millennium
Music Conference happen, especially the bands! Saturday night
we shared the stage with Doug
Kwartler, Firefly
and Kef.
They were all excellent, it was our pleasure to open for them.
Finally thanks to all the folks who made it out to the show,
come see us again at Remy's
Friday July 16th with Case

JUNE 17, 2004
Trespassengers are pleased to announce the addition of a new
band member, Ned Berry. Ned has been kind enough to play violin
on a few of our tracks in the past year. Also in recent months
he has been making the trek from New Jersey to come play with
us at our shows as well as coming down for the occasional
practice. When he plays with us we're better for it. It's
a pleasure to have him in the band.
Ned has been playing violin for over 20 years and brings
a wealth of musical knowledge to the band. He is adept at
playing many styles of music including; classical, Irish folk
and American folk. His own style is influenced by his classical
background as well as by modern bands like Camper Van Beethoven.
Be sure to catch Ned playing with us this Friday at Remy's
on Paxton Street. We go on at 10. Hope to see you there.

The show starts at 10. Three great bands for one low price!
Should be a really good show.
Speaking of really good shows... this past Friday we were
able to catch Case
150 at Remy's, and those guys were incredible. If you
like alt-country music, than you'll love Case 150! We're actually
working on getting some shows together, so check back here
to find out when those shows start happening. Hope to see
you at Remy's on the 18th.
